Are you coming to EASD Berlin and do you consider yourself an active part of the Diabetes Online Community – or want to become one?
Since 2015, the EASD #docdays° have provided an open space for members of the #DOC to meet in a casual setting and present, brainstorm, pitch and talk about ideas, projects, dreams and plans. Meet diabetes advocates, bloggers, patient entrepreneurs and friends from around the world and get in touch with the corporate side of the diabetes community for valuable feedback and support!
As usual, #docday° has no agenda - YOU are the agenda! We'll have a beamer, flipcharts and lots of blank sheets of paper waiting for you, so if there is anything you'd like to pitch, present or talk about - please do! Rules are simple: Everyone gets his or her 5 minutes of fame for a short pitch plus Q&A - and great feedback from the #DOC! Please refrain from PowerPoint presentations unless necessary, and send us a short introductory email so we know what's coming. If you'd rather just attend to see what this is all about, no worries: Spontaneous presentations are always welcome!
Bastian Hauck, Germany: Welcome
Katarina Braune, Germany: Hacking Health Artificial Pancreas Meetup
Shane O'Donnell, Ireland: OPEN project (Outcomes of Patients’ Evidence with Novel, do-it-yourself artificial pancreas technology)
Renza Scibilia, Australia: Position paper on DIY technology by Diabetes Australia
Mandy Marquardt, USA / Germany: Team Novo Nordisk
Freddie Treseler, USA: Join us for 5k@EASD!
... and YOU?! Get in touch!
Help us spread the word by joining our FB event, but please note that you will need EASD accreditation to attend #docday° as the event takes place within the EASD conference venue: Room Berlin is on the 3rd floor above Behring Hall. We start at 12.00 h, but you can come whenever you like and stay as long (or little) as you want! If you arrive in Berlin the weekend before EASD, don't forget to join us for #docnight°, the official EASD community warmup!
#dedoc° is looking forward to welcoming you to Berlin!

ATTENTION: #docday° follows an open door policy and welcomes everyone who considers himself part of the #DOC. Industry employees are welcome to attend, listen in, connect and support as long as they make their affiliation visible and refrain from marketing talk. Companies and individuals wishing to support are more than welcome to join us (and buy a ticket) for #docnight° and "pay more than usual" ;-) !
